
As an ex-water police and fisheries patrol vessel, the Investigator has a well-equipped engine room and electronics package combined with comfortable accommodation, galley, toilet and shower facilities and a reverse cycle air-conditioning unit on board, ideal for extended voyages. This vessel was built to perform in challenging weather and ocean conditions and its midships pilot house allows for a comfortable ride when offshore.
Powered by twin 650 horsepower MTU engines, she is highly responsive with ease of maneuver, and has an economical cruise speed of 16 knots, climbing to a maximum of 24 knots. She is currently prepared for 2B and 3D survey for 10+2 persons and is equipped with a deck hydraulic hauler, 1t deck crane with winch and a midships tow post, making the ‘Investigator’ a versatile vessel for multiple roles.
